Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between Mavora Parlor and any person who browses, registers or purchases through this website. The Terms are framed in conformity with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Access to or use of the Store signifies unconditional acceptance of the clauses set out below.
1. Definitions
1.1. “Goods” means the hand tools, power tools, cutting accessories, fasteners and hardware items listed for sale.
1.2. “Order” means a request submitted by you to purchase Goods at the stated price.
1.3. “Store”, “we” and “our” refer to Mavora Parlor.
2. Eligibility
You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally competent to contract. Certain Goods incorporating blades, high-torque motors or pressurised components are intended for responsible adult use and, where applicable, for use by trained personnel.
3. Product Descriptions and Specifications
3.1. Technical particulars — dimensions, torque ratings, blade sizes, material grades and included accessories — are stated to the best of our knowledge and derived from information available to us.
3.2. Photographs are illustrative. Minor variation in finish, colour or packaging does not constitute a defect.
3.3. We do not represent that any tool is supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty, authorised-dealer status or third-party certification unless such a claim is expressly printed on the product page.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable charges. Shipping is governed by the Shipping Policy.
4.2. Accepted methods of payment are the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Cash on Delivery (COD) only. No card or international payment instrument is processed.
4.3. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error prior to dispatch and to decline or cancel an affected Order with full refund of any sum collected.
5. Formation and Acceptance of Orders
Submission of an Order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only upon our dispatch confirmation. We may decline an Order on grounds including unavailability of stock, incomplete address or suspected fraud.
6. Safe Use and Assumption of Risk
6.1. Tools and hardware are inherently capable of causing injury if misused. You undertake to read all included instructions, employ appropriate personal protective equipment and operate each item strictly within its rated capacity.
6.2. The Store shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage arising from improper use, unauthorised modification or use of a tool for a purpose for which it was not designed.
7. Intellectual Property
All text, layout and graphics appearing on this website are the property of Mavora Parlor and may not be reproduced without prior written permission. Third-party trademarks referenced for identification remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the Store in respect of any Order shall not exceed the value of the Goods comprising that Order. We disclaim liability for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with the Store.
Grievance Redressal and Contact
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, the designated Grievance Officer of Mavora Parlor may be contacted through the channels set out below. Complaints are acknowledged within forty-eight (48) hours and resolved within a reasonable period not exceeding one (1) month.
